Human-nicer

FREE · WINDOWS 10 & 11

Catch the AI tells before you hit send.

Human-nicer sits in your tray and checks everything you copy. It flags the [Enter Name] you forgot, the "I hope this helps!" you didn't write, and rewrites the rest so it sounds like you.

What it catches

Not a vague "AI percentage". Specific things you can fix, the moment you copy them.

[Enter Name]

Forgotten placeholders

Brackets, curly-brace fields and "insert X here" that would go out unfilled.

I hope this helps!

Chatbot leftovers

"Certainly!", "Here's the revised version:", and sign-offs no person types to a colleague.

leverage · seamless

AI-flavored style

Buzzwords, stacked transitions, dash and emoji overuse — flagged only when several show up together, so normal writing isn't punished.

How it works

Nothing to open, nothing to paste into. It works wherever you copy.

1

Copy anything

An email draft, a LinkedIn post, a Slack reply. Code, spreadsheets and logs are recognised and left alone.

2

Get an instant check

A 0–100 score and the exact phrases behind it, worked out on your PC in milliseconds. The mascot only speaks up when something's off.

3

Humanize in your tone

One click rewrites it. Placeholders stay put so you can fill them in.

Your clipboard stays yours

A tool that reads your clipboard has to earn trust. These aren't settings — they're how the app is built, and they're checked by automated tests on every change.

01

Copying never sends your text

The score is plain code running on your PC with no network access. Your clipboard is never uploaded, logged, or saved to disk.

02

Secrets are removed before Humanize

Passwords, API keys, emails, phone numbers, card and ID numbers are swapped out on your PC before text is sent, then put back into the rewrite locally. The bubble shows you what was held back.

03

Local-only mode turns sending off

One switch in Settings and Humanize refuses to run and anonymous usage counts stop, so nothing about your text can leave your device by any path. Read the full privacy policy.

Questions

Is it free?

Yes. The check on every copy is free and unlimited. Humanize needs a free account (sign in with Google) and includes 10 rewrites a day.

Is this an AI detector?

It's a writing check for your own text. The score is a quick estimate based on patterns common in AI output — useful for catching things before you send them, not proof of who wrote something. Please don't use it to judge other people's work.

What gets sent when I press Humanize?

The copied text, with secrets and personal details removed, and the tone you picked. It goes to our server and to Google's Gemini model to be rewritten, and isn't stored by us. Details are in the privacy policy.

Why does Windows show a warning when I install it?

Windows SmartScreen warns about new apps it hasn't seen many downloads of yet. Choose More info → Run anyway. The warning fades as more people install it.

Does it work on Mac?

Not yet — Windows 10 and 11 only for now.

How do I pause or remove it?

Right-click the tray icon → Pause watching. To uninstall, use Windows Settings → Apps → Installed apps → Human-nicer.
